Privacy policy
Last updated October 15, 2026
This policy explains what information Engineering Calc Tools (“we”, “the site”) collects when you visit, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Calculator inputs
Calculations run entirely in your web browser. The numbers and formulas you type are not sent to our servers. If you use “Copy link”, your inputs are placed in the web address so that anyone you share the link with can see them.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request) for security and to keep the site running. We may also use privacy-focused analytics to count visits and see which calculators are used most. This information is used in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.
Advertising and cookies
The site is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- To learn more, read how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and some U.S. states are shown a consent message, provided through Google’s consent management tools, before personalized ads or related cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy settings link that message provides.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and to fix any problem you report. We do not sell or share your email address.
Children
The site is intended for students and professionals and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, or to object to certain processing. Because we hold very little personal data, most requests concern advertising cookies, which you control through the consent message, your browser settings, or the opt-out links above. For anything else, contact us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
